Text message terms
Effective October 16, 2026
What these texts are
Juni is a private, invite-only companion that helps you practice cognitive behavioral therapy skills by text between your therapy sessions. Texts from Juni are replies to what you send, guided exercises you start, and occasional check-ins, for example a follow-up on a plan you made. Juni does not send marketing or promotional texts.
How you agree
You agree to receive texts by checking a box during setup on textjuni.dev, after being invited. The box is not pre-checked. See how joining works.
How often
Message frequency varies. Most texts are replies to your own messages. Check-ins are limited, usually no more than a few a day, and never during the quiet hours you choose.
Costs
Message and data rates may apply, depending on your mobile plan. Juni itself does not charge for texts.
Stopping and getting help
- Reply STOP at any time to stop all texts from Juni. You will get one confirmation and nothing after that.
- Reply START to turn texts back on.
- Reply HELP for help. You will get a short message about what Juni is, how to stop, and crisis resources.
- You can also write to hello@textjuni.dev.
Not for emergencies
Juni is not monitored by a person and cannot send help. If you are in crisis, call or text 988. If anyone is in immediate danger, call 911.
Delivery
Texts are sent through Twilio and your mobile carrier. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
Your phone number
Your phone number and your consent to receive texts are never sold, and are never shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. More in the privacy policy.
